Start your Armenian adventure in Yerevan with panoramic views from Victory Park and the commanding presence of the Mother Armenia Statue. Dive into history at the Military Museum, admire art and architecture at the Cascade Complex, and stroll along the chic Northern Avenue. Explore the city’s core at the Opera House, the grand Republic Square, and gain deep cultural insights at the History Museum of Armenia.
Head to Byurakan Observatory, one of the Soviet Union’s most famous astronomical research centers. Then journey to Armenia’s second city — Gyumri — known for its authentic character and humor. Walk through the historic Kumayri District, visit the fascinating Museum of Urban Life, and experience the warmth of the local culture. Return to Yerevan with a newfound appreciation for Armenia’s northern soul.
Begin the day at the iconic Khor Virap Monastery, with jaw-dropping views of Mount Ararat. Then travel to the renowned Areni Wine Region, home to the world’s oldest known winery. Discover ancient mysteries inside the Areni-1 Cave (Birds’ Cave). Your journey continues to Jermuk, where you’ll enjoy the therapeutic Drinking Gallery, admire the cascading Jermuk Waterfall, and relax near the natural geysers. Return to Yerevan for the night.
Ascend to the alpine town of Tsaghkadzor, famous for winter sports and green landscapes. Ride the Tsaghkadzor ropeway, zip through nature if you wish, and enjoy the thrill of the zipline. The day ends at Armenia’s most iconic lake — Sevan — where the Sevanavank Monastery rests on a peninsula overlooking deep blue waters. Return to Yerevan by sunset.
Conclude your adventure with a spiritual journey east of Yerevan. Gaze through the Arch of Charents, a poetic viewpoint of Mount Ararat. Visit the Hellenistic Garni Temple, carved Symphony of Stones, and participate in a hands-on lavash baking experience. End your tour at the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, partially carved into the mountainside — a final spiritual stop before heading back to Yerevan.
