Welcome! We are Nour Armenia Tours, and we are so happy you are thinking of visiting Armenia.
We are based in Yerevan, and we talk to travelers from the Middle East every day. We know there is a lot of talk and many rumors about new visa rules for 2025 and 2026. It can be confusing.
Our job is to give you the facts. We want to make your travel plan simple and clear, with no stress. Here is the real, official information for our guests traveling with Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian, or Palestinian passports.

The Most Important Update: The 2025 Temporary Visa Waiver
This is the biggest and most exciting news.
The Armenian government has approved a new temporary visa-free rule.
When: From July 1, 2025, until December 31, 2025.
What it means: During this time, you can enter Armenia without any visa IF you hold a valid residence permit from one of these countries :
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Kuwait
Bahrain
Oman
United States
Any EU or Schengen country
This is fantastic news. For our brothers and sisters from Syria and Palestine who live and work in the Gulf or Europe, this means you can fly directly to Armenia without needing an invitation or an embassy visit during this period. Just show your passport and your valid residence card.
A Quick Fact-Check: What is the “2026 Visa News”?
You have probably heard rumors about big changes in 2026. We want to be very clear about this.
You heard right, but this news is not for visitors.
This new plan is between Armenia and the EU. It is for Armenian citizens to get new biometric passports (starting in 2026) so that they can travel to Europe more easily.
This plan does not change the visa rules for you coming to Armenia. The rules for you are the ones we explain right here.
Armenia Visa for Jordanian and Lebanese Citizens: The Simple Way
For our guests from Jordan and Lebanon, the process is very simple.
You do need a visa, but you do not need an invitation.
The Easiest Way: You can apply for your visa online from your home. This is called an “e-visa.”
The Official Website: The only official website is evisa.mfa.am. You apply, pay, and they will email your visa confirmation.
- Special Note for Jordanians: You are lucky! You have two choices. You can get the e-visa online before you travel or you can get a “visa on arrival” when you land at the airport in Yerevan.
- Special Note for Lebanese: The best and most common way is to get the e-visa online before you fly. (A visa on arrival is sometimes possible, but only if you hold a permanent residency in a GCC or Western country ).
Armenia Visa for Syrian and Palestinian Citizens: The Invitation Process
For our guests from Syria and Palestine, your visit is 100% possible, but it follows a different, more specific process. Please read this carefully.
Nationals of Syria and Palestine are on Armenia’s “invitation-only” list.
What this means: You cannot use the e-visa website and you cannot get a visa on arrival. Your visa must be processed through an Armenian embassy or consulate.
The Process in 2 Steps:
Invitation: You must have a “sponsor” in Armenia. This can be a person or a company (like Nour Armenia Tours). We apply for your official invitation here in Yerevan.
Embassy: Once the invitation is approved, we send it to you. You take this paper to the nearest Armenian embassy or consulate to get the visa put in your passport.
This process takes more time, but we have helped many families from Syria and Palestine to complete it successfully.
A Special Welcome for our Armenian Brothers and Sisters
There is one more rule that is very important.
The Armenian government has an official policy. If you are a citizen of Syria or Palestine but you are of Armenian nationality, the “invation-only” rule does not apply to you.
The process for you is much simpler. We at Nour Armenia Tours have great experience with this and can guide you step-by-step.
