The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We went on a Thursday and enjoyed a live performance — the singer was amazing! The slow-cooked lamb with cauliflower on the side (a chef’s special) was a highlight : so good we forgot to take a photo! Reservations are highly recommended. A top spot for a memorable dinner date.

Friendly & Positive Tone I had a lovely experience at Sherep. The food was tasty, and each dish felt well-prepared and fresh. The service was excellent—staff were very attentive, responsive, and kind throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, though our table placement might not have been the most ideal. Overall, a good dining experience with great flavors and warm hospitality.

As soon as I walked into this place, I was hit with the smell of fresh baked bread and BBQ meats. This place is huge, but it gets very busy, so reservations are recommended. The highlights of our meal were the tandoori khachapuri, the fried pelmeni and khinkali, and of course the BBQ. They have an expansive menu with many different kinds of meats. We had beef tenderloin, lamb, and pork, and all were excellent. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. All in all, a great experience!

The top dishes served at Sherep Restaurant on Amiryan Street include:

  • Beef ribs in wine sauce: Tender ribs slow-cooked and richly flavored, praised for their depth and succulence.
  • Risotto with seafood: A creative dish combining Armenian influences with European technique, delighting seafood lovers.
  • Fried beef khinkali: A beloved Georgian-style dumpling, fried to perfection and packed with flavorful beef.
  • Pork loin: Grilled or roasted with great attention to tenderness and taste.
  • Grilled potatoes: A simple but perfectly done side that complements the meat dishes well.
  • Dolma: Stuffed grape leaves or vegetables filled with a savory mixture, highlighting traditional flavors.
  • Various barbecue items (khorovats): Tender grilled meats are a hallmark at Sherep and a customer favorite.

The menu features a cosmopolitan blend of Armenian, Middle Eastern, and European dishes, prepared with fresh local produce and presented with artistic flair. Guests also appreciate the innovative desserts, especially a signature cake with raspberry cream topped with airy meringue and a crispy crust.
